Deadly Intent

Following the devastating loss of her husband, who was deployed in Afghanistan, Bryony attempts to create a fresh start for herself and her young son, James. Overwhelmed by her own sorrow, she overlooks the fact that James has become secretive and withdrawn, spending long hours alone reenacting death scenes with his toys. When items begin to disappear and furniture is destroyed, Bryony initially blames James. However, upon confronting him, she is confronted with a reality more horrifying than any nightmare. As her life unravels, Bryony realizes that unless she finds a way to reconnect with her son, they risk being permanently separated.
