Nancy, Please

“NANCY, PLEASE” follows the journey of Paul Brawley, a talented PhD student at Yale University. Paul has recently moved in with his practical girlfriend, Jen, and is under pressure to finish his dissertation before starting his academic career. However, there’s a hitch: while unpacking, Paul realizes he’s missing something. It’s a seemingly trivial item, but one he believes is crucial to his dissertation and, consequently, his future: a worn, personally annotated hardcover of Charles Dickens’ ‘Little Dorrit.’ To get it back, he must confront his stubborn former roommate, Nancy. As Paul’s obsession with retrieving ‘Little Dorrit’ grows, his personal and professional life begins to fall apart.
