Death of the Virgin

In 1432, the tranquil town of Caravaggio witnessed a breathtaking vision of the Virgin Mary, which later fueled the dark yet remarkable artwork of the painter Michelangelo Merisi, famously known as Caravaggio. Fast forward to 2011, when three women—Lisa, an art student with big dreams; Claudia, a captivating Italian translator; and May, a young woman on the brink of joining a convent—embark on a journey to Caravaggio. Their lives are thrown into chaos when the apparition reemerges, and May is haunted by visions of gruesome murders. As these killings, eerily reminiscent of Caravaggio’s paintings, begin to unfold, the women must unravel a hidden secret to confront a startling fate. Who among them will withstand the supernatural horrors?
