Back to You and Me

Dr. Syd, a successful practitioner in the bustling city, experiences a tough day when her terminally ill patient finally succumbs. Her boyfriend, a surgeon with the ironic nicknames “Mr. Personality” and “Settle For” given by Syd’s best friend Nurse Brenda, tries to console her. However, he fumbles by suggesting that death is a natural part of life and that she would be a more effective doctor if she maintained emotional distance from her patients. He then awkwardly asks if he can visit her that night, only to be taken aback when she declines. Brenda advises Syd to take a short break and encourages her to reconsider attending her school reunion in her quaint hometown.
