Join the journey of New York City’s celebrated maestro, Arturo O’Farrill, the visionary behind the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, as he travels to Veracruz, Mexico. There, he encounters the maestros of son jarocho, a folk music tradition with a rich 300-year history. Together, they participate in the “Fandango Fronterizo,” a groundbreaking music festival held simultaneously on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border, turning the dividing wall into a symbol of unity.
