The Last Ice
For generations, the Inuit people have inhabited the Arctic region, living in harmony with the frozen seas. However, the rapid melting of sea ice due to climate change is transforming the landscape between Canada and Greenland, attracting global interest. The newly accessible waters present lucrative opportunities for oil and gas extraction, quicker shipping lanes, tourism, and fishing. Yet, for over 100,000 Inuit, this development poses a threat to their traditional way of life, potentially disrupting the fragile equilibrium between their communities, the land, and the wildlife. Historically divided by aggressive colonization and enduring hardships, the Inuit of Canada and Greenland are uniting once more to defend the remnants of their world. The pressing question remains: will the world heed their call?
