Above the Clouds

On the day she turns 18, the determined and creative Charlie uncovers a shocking truth: the man she thought was her father, her mother’s husband, is not her biological dad. Enlisting the help of Oz, a homeless man whose sole belonging is his driver’s license, she sets off on a grand road trip from Margate to the Isle of Skye in search of her real father. Throughout their travels, they both gain unexpected insights about themselves, each other, the significance of family, and the realization that, occasionally, there’s truly no place like home.
