Cruel Hearts

A young man named Guy finds out that the woman he’s been involved with is actually married to Burt Walker, a well-known minor crime boss. Fearing that Walker might eventually find out about the affair and retaliate, Guy chooses to come clean, confessing his mistake to Walker and pleading for mercy. Surprisingly, this strategy succeeds, leading to the development of a peculiar and ultimately perilous friendship between the two.
