Eat with Me

Feeling overlooked in her monotonous marriage, Emma decides to live with her son Elliot in his downtown Los Angeles loft. Elliot works as a chef at an uninspiring Chinese restaurant that’s on the brink of closing. Additionally, Elliot is gay, a fact that Emma has struggled to accept, creating a rift between them. However, they find themselves in a situation where they need each other’s support more than ever. With the help of a bold new friend, Emma begins to explore her own desires, while Elliot faces his apprehensions about intimacy. Together, they discover new ways to connect, using food as a bridge when words fall short.
