Endorphine
Twelve-year-old Simone feels deeply alienated after witnessing her mother’s violent death. In her twenties, Simone is a reclusive multimedia artist grappling with overwhelming panic attacks while trying to maintain her job in an underground parking garage. Meanwhile, sixty-year-old Simone, a physicist, is delivering a lecture on the concept of time. These three versions of Simone exist in a complex meta-world where timelines intersect, characters proliferate, and narratives repeat and evolve. Despite its frequent shifts through time, ENDORPHINE remains anchored in the emotional experiences of the Simones, offering an artistic exploration of scientific concepts while sensitively delving into how individuals cope with trauma.
