I Pass for Human

After Jane’s partner, Dax, succumbs to a heroin overdose, she seeks to numb her grief by trying the drug herself, quickly spiraling towards addiction. In her altered state, she realizes that the spirits of deceased addicts are haunting those who use drugs. Before long, Jane is pursued by the ghost of Dax and other spectral figures craving more. During this ordeal, she encounters Rick, a young man with a parallel experience, who is also plagued by the spirit of his overdosed girlfriend, Azami, the most menacing of the spectral junkie vampires. Following a harrowing night filled with fear, Jane returns to her apartment. Entering her bedroom, she notices someone lying face down on her bed. When she receives no reply, she turns the body over…
