John Light

This realistic prison drama introduces newcomer Michael Ochotorena as John Light, one of the most feared prisoners in Arizona’s State Penitentiary. However, John surprises both the guards and fellow inmates by embracing Christianity during a prison Bible study. Once released, he is eager to share his newfound faith with the world outside. Unfortunately, his intimidating appearance makes people wary of him. His only supporters are his gentle Christian mentor, Matt Garrett (played by Michael Sigler), and his straightforward parole officer (portrayed by Dean Cain). Teaming up with men who have never been in a physical altercation, John finds himself in a battle for survival.
