Killing for Love

On March 30, 1985, Derek and Nancy Haysom were found savagely killed in their Lynchburg, Virginia home. Their daughter, Elizabeth, and her boyfriend, Jens Söring, quickly became the prime suspects. The couple fled to Europe but were eventually apprehended and returned to the United States. Elizabeth received a 90-year prison sentence for her role in inciting the murders, while Jens Söring was given two life sentences. Filmmakers Karin Steinberger and Marcus Vetter, along with their team, dedicated over three years to investigating this globally infamous case. Their research revealed new evidence, notably that none of the blood samples at the crime scene matched Jens Söring.
