Thomas, recently engaged, encounters Gilbert, his soon-to-be father-in-law, who has been wed to Suzanne for three decades. Feeling disenchanted, Gilbert believes his marriage has caused him to miss out on life’s opportunities. He advises Thomas against marrying his daughter Lola and suggests he abandon all his current commitments. Together, they embark on a reckless journey, seeking adventure and convinced that true freedom lies beyond their current lives. However, they must consider the price of rekindling their youthful aspirations.
