Louis Theroux: A Place for Paedophiles

Louis has been granted entry to Coalinga Mental Hospital in California, a facility that accommodates over 500 of America’s most troubled offenders, specifically convicted pedophiles. Although many of these individuals have completed long prison terms, they are considered too dangerous to be released back into society. Consequently, they are confined here indefinitely. As Louis interacts with those receiving treatment, he grapples with the challenge of trusting men whose pasts are marked by lies and deceit.
