Plauto, Distorted Memory of an Eventual Fool

Plauto, the clown, narrates the tale of the Circo de las Alegrías. Doña Alegría, the circus owner, insists that her son Palevhi uphold the traditional style of their performances, despite the urgent need for a complete overhaul. In recent years, the circus has been struggling like a man on his last legs, with the looming threat of bankruptcy and job loss causing distress among its workers. One September evening, Palevhi announces to the circus family that they will be closing for good. Frustration and tears soon turn into a quest for solutions.
