Sara
Journalist Sara has dedicated four months to an extensive investigative report, only to have her editor-in-chief reject it out of fear of upsetting influential politicians and business leaders. Her boyfriend, who is also employed at the same publication, not only fails to alert her but also aligns himself with the editor-in-chief’s decision. In an instant, Sara finds herself disillusioned with her career, her romantic relationship, and life in general. At this low ebb, she retreats to Chiang Mai, Thailand. One night at a bar, she encounters Dok-My, a child prostitute. As Sara spends time with Dok-My and works to help her, she is increasingly troubled by recollections of her own past.
