Bakuman

Moritaka Mashiro, a junior high student who is satisfied with his ordinary life, is encouraged by his classmate Akito Takagi to pursue a career as a mangaka after Akito recognizes his exceptional artistic talent. Despite this, Moritaka hesitates to follow his passion due to the memory of his uncle, a former mangaka who passed away from overwork while trying to reclaim his former glory. With Akito’s assistance, they involve another classmate, Azuki Miho, who aspires to be a voice actress, to lend her voice to the anime adaptation of their future manga. In a surprising turn, Mashiro proposes to Azuki, who agrees to marry him, but only once they have both fulfilled their dreams. Motivated by this promise, Mashiro embarks on a challenging journey to become a renowned mangaka.
