Banished

At its core, Banished is a narrative centered on endurance. While it unfolds against the harsh historical backdrop of the establishment of the penal colony in Australia in 1788 following the First Fleet’s arrival, it does not focus on the formation of Australia itself. Instead, it explores themes of love, faith, justice, and morality, depicted on a grand scale within a restricted community where survival is a matter of life and death.
