Andie is considered off-limits for dating, largely due to her older brother Alec, the high school’s most popular student, who ensures that no boys approach her. Luckily, Andie has the support of her three closest friends to help her overcome the “little sister” label: Dakota, her openly gay best friend who is completely comfortable with his identity; Imogen, a naive and sheltered girl recently transitioned from homeschooling; and Courtney, Alec’s girlfriend and the previous year’s homecoming queen, who is reluctant to move on from her high school glory days. Together, these four distinct individuals support each other as they navigate the emotionally charged and turbulent waters of high school life.
