As World War II breaks out, two sailors aboard a Norwegian merchant vessel endure harsh circumstances as they struggle to endure a war they were unwillingly drawn into. This narrative is inspired by the real-life experiences of Norwegian merchant seamen and their families during and following the Second World War.
