The Persian Connection

Behrouz, once a child soldier in 1980s Iran, is now trying to carve out a new life in the vibrant, neon-lit streets of Los Angeles. He aspires to be a real estate agent and enjoy a peaceful existence with his girlfriend, Oksana. However, his quest for normalcy is thwarted by his growing opium addiction and gambling issues, which make it hard for him to escape his past ties with the Iranian mafia. Before long, Behrouz and Oksana are ensnared in the conflict between the rival leaders of the Iranian and Russian criminal underworlds.
