Carter, a teenager dealing with personal issues, spends some time at the home of his father’s friend and begins to develop a flirtatious connection with her son, Danny. When the weekend ends and school resumes, Carter, who is popular among his peers, tells Danny that he doesn’t want to be associated with him at school. Despite this, their bond strengthens outside of school, and Danny eventually falls in love with Carter. After Danny faces an attack, their romantic relationship blossoms, but the question remains whether it can endure.
